Anna was born on June 2, 1848 in Jackson Co., Indiana. She married Alexander Axsom in 1870, and they had 5 children in Brown and Monroe counties.

Sometime before 1899 Alexander and Anna moved with at least two of their children (Etta and Johnnie) to the southern Iowa/northern Missouri area.

Anna died in Cainesville, Missouri in June 1940.
